Mistakes happen, we understand!! If you entered information incorrectly within your background screening request, here are some steps to take to resolve this:
If the Invitation form has NOT been submitted:
If the information has not been submitted (the save button has not been used), you can go back, and EDIT this information by clicking on the PREVIOUS button before submitting the background invitation form.
If the background invitation form has been SUBMITTED:
Your personal information should be entered exactly as it appears on your driver’s license or other I.D. you provided for verification. If your name, date of birth, address, driver’s license number, or state of issuance were entered incorrectly, please contact your hiring company as soon as possible, as a new background check will need to be ordered by the hiring company.
For Education or Employment, please contact your recruiter and ask that they close out the incorrect education or employment verification request. An additional request will have to be submitted for the correct information to be verified.
If HireRight contacts you for additional information to assist with an employment or education verification, you must respond within 7 days of your report’s closed date. At any time, you can initiate a dispute to correct any incomplete or inaccurate information on the report by contacting HireRight Applicant Care.
