You may be asked to provide details for gaps in your activity history for either education or employment. If so, you will have the opportunity when completing the background form to indicate that you were neither studying nor working during this period.

Additionally, to accelerate your background screening process you will be asked to upload documentary evidence confirming the start and end dates of the given period and selected activity. Please note that you should not upload any sensitive or confidential personal information. Examples of acceptable documents are:

  • Tax documents

  • Unemployment letters

  • Interview invites

  • Government documentation confirming unemployment related benefits

  • Documentation of medical, maternal/paternal/adoption leave

Please note that if you are unable to provide applicable documents when you are completing the online background form, you can provide those at a later date.
